| Vic was, for many years, a successful 2nd XI captain.
Predominantly a hard hitting middle order batsman who batted himself too
low, Vic has been known to turn his arm over off a ridiculous run-up. Having
'retired', Vic re-emerged as an opening batsman capable of taking a century
off the ageing Terry Hills at Horndon. His agricultural style has sometimes
brought comparison (unfair) with the wild west. Vic has been know to devour the odd
