| The Pig was the mainstay of the opening attack during a long
period in which the club enjoyed much league success. He has taken over
1,700 wickets for the club including 124 wickets in 1980. A useful batsmen and
reliable catcher (especially in the gulley). A man who possesses fists of
iron, Steve still turns out for midweek games. Left for the guaranteed bat & bowl at Navestock. |
