A cricket fan from an early age, Big Al was named after the famous county club and has been known to sport their colours on his equipment. A left hand bat who specialises in shots through the gulley, big Al can be a fearsome site in his trademark bandana. Al hopes to go into sportswear design with some interesting styles in cricket shirts. Al drives the only sports car with the Jolly Roger hanging from the aerial.

Having been written out of Eastenders, Big Al took on the skipper's role of the Sunday 2nd XI. A leigh-on-Sea player likened him to Jon Bon Jovi but we're not sure if it is a physical resemblance or whether he is living on a prayer when he bats.

Left to make the most of his investments.
